The Message of the Cross

We couldn't leave this year without recognizing the hard work and dedication of Casey Sones. He had the vision to put up a gospel tent in Picayune, Mississippi. We had wanted to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Katrina cleaning out the Gulf Coast, but there was no room at the inn, but the year would not escape without a downpour in this area. The vision Casey Sones had in a dream was fulfilled by one man being obedient to what God was saying. For four straight nights we felt and heard the voice of God under a gospel tent. God is calling people from the pews to carry the cross. I was asked to preach on Saturday night. It was so powerful on November 7, 2009 that as I preached I could feel the sense of many angels in the tent. There was such a glory that surrounded that night it stirred the expectation of everyone who came and put their time into this event. God had honored the celebration of the 5th anniversary of Katrina with this powerful gospel tent. For several weeks and several days Casey Sones established a tabernacle in the wilderness to touch the face of God. At the end of this vision Casey laid at home in his bed completely exhausted from the entire event. The seeds of this event are growing now, the door was opened on those four nights in Mississippi. Every where the center of Katrina went was honored by his presence. Now John Kilpatrick will open a new church in New Orleans at the Crown Plaza Hotel. We have done more new things in ministry this year than we have done in the last 17 years of The Remnant International -- To God be the glory .

NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- It was yesterday that I learned the great man of faith had died. He was a world shaker but to me he was personal. During my time at Oral Roberts University in the Fall of 1979 the City of Faith was being built and Richard and Patty Roberts were ending their marriage -- I saw a white faced man of sorrow come to our chapel service on campus, Roberts was alone in prayer in front of the stage at Christ's Chapel, I and two other undergraduate students walked forward to lay hands on the great man of God. It was a time and a day I will never forget. He was a person who cared about people and he was a man who was in the fire all the time. He wasn't perfect but neither are you and I. All I know about this man is, he loved people and had compassion on the sick, he was an extension of Jesus as he went from town to town healing the sick. Words can't explain the loss we feel today - His wife had just went home a few years ago, how could he ever do anything without his lady by his side. Today they don't have any more projects of healing, building, or sorrows about their children from this life. He is home with his daughter, son in law and Evelyn's never to weep no more. Oral thanks for doing something in the time I knew you. My four short months at the Oral Roberts Graduate School of Theology was an education within itself. You will never accomplish anything in ministry without praying the price. You carried your cross well -- they said after you went home there would be another level of ministry come into this world. When you went home it was like family leaving us, you have always been there I hope you are reading this in heaven, I love Oklahoma and I loved Oral Roberts.

MOBILE, AL -- As I write this my mind turns back to the day we traveled to Bethlehem. Going into the Church of the Holy Sepulcher I noticed how much religion has tried to control this place. It was a site where Christ was born in a manger to give hope to the entire world, but as we began to understand the struggle of religion in this place the hope was never put into a religious system but it was put in focus for anyone to receive eternal life through the birth and the death of Jesus on the Cross. The small baby was born to hang on a tree for you and me. The Message of the Cross still comforts us today. As you read this, search your mind and your soul to find out if you are in his perfect will. It says in Isaiah 55:8 that our thoughts and our ways are not his ways or thoughts. Who would of ever thought that the King of all glory would have been born in a stable. Who would of ever thought that this person would become a healer. To have his thoughts and his ways we must be like him, the greatest gift you will ever give this Christmas is your life to Jesus, and then your thoughts and ways will be established in Him. When you give your life to Jesus, it is a gift that keeps on giving eternally. Thank you Jesus for coming and remembering us this year, my present to you is my life and my soul.

MOBILE, AL -- It was Obadiah Franklin who put the fire under Stacy Mitchell to carry the cross. As he stood at an intersection in Picayune, Mississippi he watched as the Message of the Cross was introduced to those going through that intersection. One by one they came to talk to the man of God and to receive Jesus. It was that weekend that Stacy went home and built a cross, he knew that something special was in the message of carrying that cross. Stacy used to live in Baton Rouge, La but now he lives in Mobile. Recently he was laid off from his job and his wife and him are completely living by faith. The Message of the Cross has endured but the joy Stacy Mitchell finds is the people who receive when he carries that cross into the community will last forever. Pray for Stacy and his family at this time, "How beautiful are the feet of those who carry the Good News." Thank you Stacy for hearing God's call.

MOBILE, AL -- We would like to share with you how much our ministry is reaching out right now. We want to return to a printed monthly publication. God has limited my time to the personal ministry right now. We have not published the on-line edition but we will return to that when we reestablish the newspaper. Right now I am in the process of a written book about the Brownsville Revival and the international move of God as we have witnessed it around the world. The personal ministry in Yorkshire, England, the missionary-journalism with Dr. Rodney Howard-Brown in South Africa and the visits to Lago, Nigeria where we have witness the power of God through the man of God, T. B. Joshua. While many have seen us through the eyes of their own judgments, because we have been obedient we have seen the glory of God in every place and every space. One thing we know about the ministry of The Remnant we will know we were in the right place at the right time when this ministry ends. The 32 times we have flown across the ocean to see the glory will be an known as an eye opened to the world and the deepest revelations will come from the prophetic insight on the trail we have traveled. No one has controlled our editorial content even though many have tried to push us into other directions we have always went in the direction where God has told us to go.

MOBILE, AL -- We have taken some much needed time off and have not updated this web in the past few weeks. We have been doing a lot of traveling and our efforts are underway to write the story of the Brownsville Revival and the The Remnant International's ministry. In the last year everyone has been very supportive of our ministry. To say the least we are very pleased. Above you see the picture of David Ben Gurion and the checkpoint where people go from Jerusalem to Bethlehem. This was the place where Christ was born and in the last few years we have seen an Exodus of Christians from this area. When you go to the old city of Bethlehem you will see several houses with the St. George emblem defeating the dragon. Each house this is owned by a Christian displays that emblem at the front of the house. Since Hamas has taken control of the area through the voting box -- more and more Christians have left. When we went through this check point we saw a mystery happen that day. As we went through that area surrounded by a large 14 foot wall we experienced warm weather on our way back we saw the temperature fall almost 30 degrees in just one half hour with a violent thunderstorm and hail moving through the atmosphere. We ask you to lift up the radio ministry of The Remnant International this season of Joy and not to forget to pray for this city. We are living in the Bible Times of the fulfillment of prophecy.

DAPHNE, AL -- It was the first time I was in my home church for a month and a half. Ministry has taken my time to seek the face of God and to bless those who came to my prophetic meetings. Evangelist Steve Hill had been there on Friday night and if I would have known I would have been there. Yesterday God was in the house as worship leader Lydia Stanley brought us into the presence of God I just wanted to sing in the Spirit. When we sang in the understanding it seems as if I could not find the tune but when I began to sing in the Spirit everything matched and blended into a symphony of adoration. It really began to touch my understanding as I turned to Amos 9:11 In the last days I will restore the Davidic Tabernacle. As I sang in the Spirit I truly understand AMOS 9:11 -- We are that Davidic Tabernacle and every time we are around the river anointing we keep trying to go into the holy place, I believe that day we enter fully into the holy place is the day God will take us home. Last weekend I was in Picayune and the power of God was the same way. It's not that way in several congregations and I began to understand that Jesus is very near, it doesn't matter the denomination or structure you can see the hunger on the faces of those who really want Him to come. Pastor John Kilpatrick took his liberty yesterday as he spoke the word on "What Shall We Say To These Things." His word went way into the afternoon and we found ourselves leaving the church at 2 PM. He had taken his liberty with the people but we are used to that because what this apostle of God is teaching is pure living water. Not to lift up a man but to be feed like this is be under the understanding of one who knows the time and the hour. As a preacher I feel like I have a now word but to listen to this man teach I just sit and wonder. Wow this is awesome, and as I listen revelation begins to come to me on what I will preach next. I'm of the belief that you should always have fresh bread when you come to the pulpit. Everywhere houses of bread are beginning to be built -- Church of His Presence is just what it sounds like, it is a house of presence. How could I be more blessed by my home church, those who are hungry study and the revelation that is coming into these new pulpits is from out of this world -- it's coming from heaven.

MOBILE, AL -- I was just a few miles outside of Picayune, Mississippi as I traveled to one of the greatest events in this preachers life. Casey Sones had a dream one night and saw the glory of God coming down in a gospel tent. When you hear someone's vision you very often say to yourself, "Oh sure you heard from God, but this vision was a direct revelation from God. I drove by the tent three times as I was listening to something on the radio I wanted to finish, but finally when I came into the tent I felt the presence of God and began to get drunk in the Spirit. The night started in a harmless way as Francis led us into the presence of God. Francis began to take her liberty as the cloud of presence came across all under the canvas heaven. On earth as it is in heaven, is in the Lord's prayer -- this night heaven would be on earth. Francis had the prophetic call on her voice as several answered the call and one by one they received from God. It was my turn to follow Francis and I had followed her in several meetings -- I had planned a message for the night but as my time came the floating power of God came over me. I didn't know what was happening to me but I do know it was a moment in time that I would not forget. I was drunk with a microphone in my hand and the fire of God was going to go through me like a bolt of lightening. I jumped from the stage which was only four feet off the ground but when I jumped I landed on my face. Many thought I had hurt myself but I wasn't hurt at all. The glory was so thick on that holy ground that I got up under the power of a holy God. One thing happens under the glory and that is it is deceiving, you just don't know what is happening until it slays you in front of a group of people. I could have laid there for the rest of the service but as I got up the fire of God came out of my mouth as the meeting went late into the night. That morning Casey warned me and told me that the glory was under the tent, but I thought that was just a lot of revival talk. As I laid on the small carpet in front of the pulpit, it was then I knew it wasn't preacher talk. What can God do with one man in this world? Sones's, grandfather had preached the Gospel in this county and this third generation preacher has become a leader in this community. He took a dream and a vision and put legs on it -- many people have dreams but there are just a few people who can put them to reality. As Casey and his volunteers pulled the tent down Casey laid in his tent at home exhausted on Monday night but he knew one thing and that was that he followed God in what God had asked him to do. Thank you Casey for listening to God. I have not experienced this amount of glory since the 1997 Meetings in Bradford, England.

MOBILE, AL -- A sense of revival is in the cool November air, it was in 1993 that we began a printed publication that would launch revival and carry that message all over the world. What is a revival but a revealed message that God wants to bring his people to be refreshed with. Revival is an actual miracle, you can't schedule a hurricane, a tornado or any other event. God is totally in charge and the definition of what revival is goes way beyond any regular church service. Revival is when people pray and one day God turns the usual in to the unusual. It called a visitation of his presence that hasn't been seen before. Casey Sones and others have been praying over a vacant piece of land in hope that a visitation will happen. The "IF MY PEOPLE GROUP ARE AT IT AGAIN," they have followed the formula and now we engage God with the revelation he has provided. The Message to this country is to bring to full focus the presence of this message.

MOBILE, AL -- We have traveled so far and so long that we took last week off. God moved in our trip as we traveled through the Shenandoah River Valley all the was to just outside of Washington, D. C. At Purcellville, Va we noticed that the glory of God intensified on the 10th of October. We had spoken about the change in our country and spoke about the policies of the new president that goes against our very core beliefs. The power of God during the worship rolled into the church and during the altar ministry the glory was so strong that I could barely stand while doing ministry. I had to stand in awe of what God did on this night. I asked God that night as I got into my car to return to the place where I was staying. I didn't know it but President O'Bama was just 50 miles from the church as he courted the gay agenda. All day in Washington, D.C. the gays paraded and put their last days agenda forward. On Friday the congress added their plight to hate crimes -- the next step up will be the FCC and their policies. To speak against Sodomy will call for people to answer to the policies of this national policy of broadcasting. Already in Canada ministers are being restricted at the boarder because of their stance against the gay agenda. That night what we were sensing and feeling in that Saturday service was the glory of God. God promises us when evil comes in so will the amount of God's glory would come in at the same time. Pray for our agenda as we measure this time and direction to be active in revival and publishing.

PURCELLVILLE, VA -- We have been on the road now for and we are beginning to feel a little tired. I have spoken for the last four days in some of the most beautiful mountains and valleys of this West Virginia and Virginia region. On Wednesday we spoke in Swoop, Virginia. As we went down the winding road of this mountain valley I can only tell your that the beauty of this place is right out of heaven. On Sunday night we spoke at a Four-Square Church in Capon Bridge, West Virginia. beautiful church is situated edge of a mountain. These two church services were touched both times by the power of God and His Presence. Tonight we will minister in Purcellville King of Kings Church where Michael Legg is the pastor. We have been coming to this church for the last 7 years and power of God always flows, please pray for us while we are out here. Pray for the revelation to flow this night, we need a break through not just in this area of Virginia but in the Washington D.C. area.

CAPON BRIDGE, W VA -- Tonight I am on the side of a mountain in West Virginia. If you could see the beauty here you would understand that God must have created this place for all to enjoy. The small Fireside Four Square Church is pastored by David Chamblee. Fireside Christian Fellowship's pastor was called from Southern California to do a work on this side of the United States. NEW YORK, NY -- They came to the 911 city to discuss the politics of the world. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with the President of the United States over vital issues that shape the future of Israel and the determination of the entire world on the matters of peace. The unseen agent oil will control the destiny of the entire world. People who do not know the bible nor the blessings and curses of Israel are poised to make a deal with the terrorists to give Israel's land back. JERUSALEM, ISRAEL -- It was his wish that Jerusalem become the Capital of modern Israel. He helped birth the new country on April 29, 1948 and he was its first prime minister. Above is the land that is not settled. When David Ben Gurion died he asked to be buried in the area where the land was not settled yet. It was his dream and vision that Israel would inhabit the entire country. Now forces in the United States are once again asking that the Jewish homeland would compromise the lands won in the 1967 war. Israel did not provoke this war but now those who lost their land by aggression is trying to force Israel through the United States of America to give them back what Israel won. One prophet of God said this about the 1967 war, that war was fought by the Jews, and they had a spiritual purpose behind taking the land. Because it was a godly motive to take back Jerusalem, the Lord allowed the Jewish nation to increase by one third during the six day war in 1967. Pray for our leaders in the United States to back away from any peace agreement with the terrorist.

OCEAN SPRINGS, MS -- It was in 1989 that I wanted to make a mark in ministry. I knew the call of God had been on my life since May 7, 1977 on the day my father died. I knew I was in some type of transition and I spoke to my pastor about having a five minute a day radio program. At the time Dr. Sam Luke, Jr. was my pastor and he encouraged me to go on an do it. The main focus of the program was to teach on the gifts of the Spirit and present supernatural testimonies. Pastor John Kilpatrick was on my program more than 5 years before the Brownsville Revival. My dreams were many as I was asking God also for a newspaper. The Remnant International has now been on WOSM for the last 20 years and it was the doorway that I went through for ministry. Since that time we have grown, we were the official record of the Brownsville Revival with The Remnant Newspaper and now we are heard all over the world on the Voice of Jerusalem. Planting a seed of ministry requires obedience and sometimes God puts his hand on it so others might hear it. Was it divine direction when Jerrell Miller spoke with Charles Cooper in 1989 -- Charles Cooper will tell you it was a divine call in 1971 when he started the station. Charles Cooper got out of the Air Force in 1971 to start a radio station in an old mobile home down a dirt road in Ocean Springs, it was the year that Jerrell Miller received Jesus into his heart as a senior at the University of Alabama. DAPHNE, AL – It just wasn’t an ordinary Sunday service at the Church of His Presence . For the last two weeks Brenda Kilpatrick and John Michael Kilpatrick filled the pulpit while pastor took these two Sundays off but when he came back to fill the pulpit, it was more than anything I had ever expected. Lydia Stanley lead the worship as the power of God swept the building. It was His powerful presence that came into the room and it went on until 12 noon. The pastor was taken back at the explosion of praise but he told his loyal group he had something to share with the congregation that was coming off the page also.

"Would I ever have a
testimony like my pastor ?"

John Kilpatrick turned back to his youth to remember the stories of his pastor. As a product of a single parent childhood, Kilpatrick had a Godly mentor named Pastor Wetzel who spoke into his life and raised him up under the message of prophecy. “I listen to him over and over as he spoke about some of the supernatural occurrences in his life. I wondered to myself, would I every have a testimony like Pastor Wetzel." He was just 14 years old but the time he spent at the church was endless. God was preparing him for ministry as the elder gentleman poured his life into the fatherless young boy. It was during the deepest times of need in the pastor’s life that God revealed something to the young man that he would tell over and over until this day. As revival touched the church some in the house of God at Riverview Assembly of God wanted to run the pastor off. There was extreme pressure being put on the man of God, but no one was prepared for what happened next. It was after a Sunday night service that the Pastor Wetzel was almost willing to give into the selfish people who wanted to see him gone. They had just gotten back from an all night hamburger shop when 17 men came into the church to start praying at 11 PM. The heaviness of the situation was so much people who started out in praying fervently finally gave into the moment and walked to the front altar rail of the church. “I remember my pastor preaching and his white shirt shining in the moon light. He was the last person to stop praying and as he joined the other 16 men at the front of the church it seemed like demonic depression set in. With all 17 men about ready to go home a spirit of expectancy touched the church as two sizable angels came through the locks at the front of the church and positioned themselves in each corner of the back of the church for the next five hours. They were human like and yet they were powerful fields of light with radiant colors. We all were glued to watching them until their vigil was through. At sunrise these two angels gathered themselves as the back door and dipped there heads to go out the door. What seemed like 15 minutes lasted five hours. It was the most amazing thing that I had ever witnessed in my life,” said John Kilpatrick. While this story was related to me more than 20 years ago I had never forgotten it, it was the first testimony on the front of our first edition in November of 1993. That’s what this Sunday was all about on September 13, 2009. This was a door for our newspaper to begin and that door has never closed until this day and each door that has opened from this door has always been greater and has always been larger. Pray for the Church of His Presence in Daphne, Alabama, it is a place where the dwelling of the Holy Spirit has come at times and the same Spirit that touched the Brownsville Revival has been felt in the same way at times. This is a place that has been established by the government of God for this time in the last days.

Revelation 19:10

It was a special time to be at the church as Kilpatrick quoted the scripture Revelation 19:10 that said, "Worship God for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Those words drove his entire sermon as the revival pastor said that just the telling of the story of what you have seen and where you have been opens the door for it to happen all over again. As a 19 year old pastor he was stricken by a blood disease that was going to take his life. He had a young wife, a baby and a doctor that said he was going to die. Today John Kilpatrick tells about the story of how God healed him through the prayers of backwoods Georgia Church. He went on to say that one testimony led to another and as I stand before you I have so many stories of the miracles of God in my life that if began to tell you all that has happened we would leave the building the next day at sundown. Kilpatrick said, "In all the things I have experienced I know that he is going to do more." This was no ordinary sermon and this was no ordinary day at church. Kilpatrick said that the works of God and the testimony of what we have seen and heard is as almost as powerful as the word of God. The telling of these stories opens the door of his glory and people can sense and feel the presence on them, like I an others had felt at the time they were told.

DAPHNE, AL -- For five straight years in Pensacola from 1995 to 2000 History was made with three revival figures that will be remembered by those who were touched by them. Pastor Kilpatrick with a tear in his eye stood to introduce his friend Steve Hill. Pastor Kilpatrick said that he was touched several times while Hill's life was in the balance this year. As Lyndell Cooley lead the huge crowd at the Civic Center in Daphne, it was clear that the presence of God was surrounding this place last night. As Steve Hill came to speak, he spent a little time with the people to tell his story about last year. Hill was in the battle of his life, "I didn't know it until the doctor told me about where I was at the time." He was on his way to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston; when he arrived he was infected from his head to his toe. In and out of consciences the doctor brought him back, and now the cancer is under control. "The doctors are killing the cancer little by little, it has been a real struggle. We are traveling internationally but sometimes the cancer treatments are so draining that we have to cancel meetings. I am just glad to be here and be with my friends, in some of the toughest times I would receive a phone call from Pastor Kilpatrick, through all of this I have grown closer to him. We were together for five years in Pensacola and we became close but you just don't know what kind of friend you have until you go through something like this.

THE MESSAGE

Steve Hill preached a message of Holiness and called to the church to expose sin. He said that he had been attacked by several who dislike his message of holiness. This week on Trinity Broadcasting Network, Hill spoke a word about pastors who have defiled their position though sins of the flesh. Hill also said that since he has went through some of his cancer treatments that he has had several open visions. God showed him a pastor who had raped one of the children of the congregation. During the week a women from Tennessee wrote Hill and said she was that little girl. He parents had let her go to the park with the pastor to ride bikes and the pastor took her off the bike trail and raped her. The altars call was powerful last night as the altars were filled with people coming forward to renew their lives. For me as an editor it was very warm and fulfilling to see, Steve Hill, Lyndell Cooley and Pastor John Kilpatrick together again. Pastor Kilpatrick said that he has scheduled Steve Hill and Lyndell Cooley to come four times a year to Daphne. It was a very powerfull night last night.

DAPHNE, AL -- There were three soldiers who stood together for several years in Pensacola, who endured the hardships of revival to gain the harvest. Tonight these three will get together one more time to throw the net and gain the harvest. Steve Hill, Lindell Cooley and Pastor John Kilpatrick know about revival. They will be on the Bay of the Holy Spirit at the Daphne Civic Center when the call of God will be heard.

PEOPLE HAVE STOPPED GOING TO CHURCH BUT THEY STILL LOVE GOD AND ARE HUNGRY FOR HIS PRESENCE IN THEIR LIVES

MOBILE, AL -- Editor Jerrell Miller has been circulating Mobile Country where he lives and has come a cross several Christians who have been betrayed by their denominations. Homosexuality is hurting the church and the standards of holiness in the Methodist and Anglican Church has caused several people to stay home after being in the faith and the grace of their faith. "We worshiped there for 30 years and we are bible believing Christians and we know Jesus but our Bishop made the choices for our church and it has gone down to 20 members. The filthy people who have taken the pulpit and what they are saying has caused my husband and me to stay home on Sunday. We know several other people in our situation and these people will not back up from what they believe. With 20 people left in our church they are now speaking about closing its doors. The majority of the people who supported this church is either like us or they have moved on to other churches where they support the word of God. I know something has to be done but we are just pawns in a church where the leadership has put every unholy thing on the table to repulse the people and scatter the flock. DAPHNE, AL -- Stacy Mitchell said that it seems like these major events are happening four years apart. On September 11, 2001 we were touched by the strike of terror on New York City, and now four years later we are reliving the events of Hurricane Katrina. He asked the question, could anything else happen on the fourth year after Katrina. On September 11, 2009, Evangelist Steve Hill will preach to the prodigal on a Friday that will look back 8 years ago when America got a wake up call. MOBILE, AL -- For years I had lived in Mobile, Alabama and had never went through a hurricane. I was at the Oral Roberts Graduate School of Theology in Tulsa, Okalahoma. It was the Fall of 1979 when Hurricane Frederick tore through the center of Mobile. At the time I was working at the Tulsa, World delivering newspapers early in the morning. On the front page of each paper was destruction of Mobile, Alabama. After living there most of my life I had left town and a hurricane tore up the place. I got a week off from school a week later and as lights and phones were being restored I began the 700 mile trip back home. I never knew what a hurricane could do until I got to Hattiesburg, Mississippi and saw the pine trees snapped off from the tops. And then when I got to Mobile, entire areas were leveled by hurricane. Mobile was blessed as the hurricane came in on a low tide but those who went through the ravage of Katrina saw the tidal surge raise up to 30 feet high and wash away old southern antebellum mansions from there foundations. No this was not just a hurricane and this didn't come from Mother Nature but this came from Father God. As President Bush came into Mobile he gave a thumbs up to FEMA Director and then fired him two weeks later. No one could have dealt with Katrina, this was no ordinary hurricane and even today people are not back in what they knew as a home. In Mobile we were touched very hard but we never were hit as hard as the area along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Louisiana.

MOBILE, AL -- We were a half a world away, and we pretended like it didn't really matter but it was our country that forced the Jews to push their people off of their land in Gush Katif, Israel. It was our state department that forced Israel to give the land of Gaza away. That was on the 17th of August and on August 31st the Lord God himself began to move upon the United States of America. As the Jewish refugees from Gaza were forced to be refugees in their own land God put his hand on New Orleans, Louisiana and scattered the people there, and in one night the city lost two thirds of its residents. Many people today say that it wasn't so but when you look at the closeness of time in and scripture, then you begin to understand that God is very close to his people. Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

PICAYUNE, MS -- Picayune, Mississippi sits directly over the top of New Orleans. The powerful storm came in with a full force that covered one of the widest areas from Mobile, Alabama to left side of New Orleans. The storm traveled up the Pearl River and violently slammed Picayune and Poplarville, Mississippi leaving these communities helpless for several weeks past the storm while the main focus was put on New Orleans. The storm was so great that it confused President George Bush and the relief that was supposed to come from Washington. Before the storm it was the same government and state department that pushed Israel off the settlements in Gush Kadif in the Gaza. The first time the Jewish Nation ever had refugees at this time in their own country. Two thirds of New Orleans, Louisiana is not there today. They never came back, what more do we need to do to tempt God to move on this country again like this. God made his statement along the Gulf Coast and to this day we have never seen anything in the area of the Gulf Coast to finish the recovery for thousands upon thousands of people to return to their homes. Today there are refugees all over the United States that call their home New Orleans. If you go to Biloxi, Gulf Port and Bay St. Louis, Mississippi you will see place after place abandoned with no hope today. Those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed, many believe this scripture represents the judgment of God upon the United States for the giving away of the land in the Gaza, the only way to prove these statements to be true is to repeat these actions again in the on going land for peace deals in Israel today.

PICAYUNE, MS -- His name is Stacy Mitchell and he is an inspiration to everyone who meets him. He spent some time with Obadiah Franklin two months ago on a street corner in Picayune, Mississippi. He was moved to do something. Stacy Mitchell wanted to do something for Jesus and the more he saw people affected by Obadiah's cross the more he wanted to do the same thing. God was in it, while most people are searching for a way to bring people to Christ and changed the situation, Stacy every weekend and goes to where God is leading him to witness with the Cross. In the last few weeks he has been on the Campus of LSU in Baton Rouge, Baldwin Country, Alabama; and Starkville, MS. Obadiah Franklin said that he watched Arthur Blessit on television carry the cross and said to himself, "Boy I'll never do that!" That was yesterday as Obadiah resigned his church as a Church of God preacher and decided to attack the highways with the Cross. As John Wesley traveled England on horse back, Wesley made the greatest statement a man of God could make, "The World is my parish." There are no more Wesley's in England as Methodist Churches are bought up by Islam to be Mosques, only two percent of Christianity goes to church there. Many believe England is cursed because they tried to block the Jewish Nation in 1948 on their return to their homeland by blockading their return from the Mediterranean Sea, revival has been destined to failure in England since that time. It was President Harry Truman a Baptist from Missouri who signed an executive order to fulfill prophecy that they would return upon the wings of the gentiles from the East. Israel always returns from the East, from Egypt, from Babylon and now from the entire world the Jews have returned from the East and Jesus will also return to this land from the East. AMOS 9:15And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God. No design of man could stop the destination of the Jews on April 29, 1948.

MESSAGE OF THE CROSS

Stacy Mitchell isn't about religion as he tries to arrange his work so he can hit the road on the week end with the cross. Some people have hobbies on the weekend but Stacey is a man after God's own heart. "I realize that the only time will be confronted with salvation is when they see this cross." Stacy Mitchell will walk the path of Katrina along the Pearl River Missississippi, they have sold all for the precious pearl without price, the high calling of Jesus Christ and his witness.

BAY ST. LOUIS, MS -- It was just 4years ago that the Gulf Coast was almost blown away. To the left you can see the destruction of downtown Bay St. Louis, MS. A Methodist Church that stood in the community for almost 200 years was pulled apart from the bell tower as the cross which so proudly displayed their faith was dropped to the ground and the large cast iron bell was lost to the storm during the morning of August 31, 2005. These pictures taken on the day President George W. Bush visited shows that even during the second year of cleanup the federal government of the greatest nation in the world could not put it back together.

He came to me again and told me that this was an announcement for within these churches the presence of the last days shall flow through them. OCEAN SPRINGS, MS -- It doesn't matter how you look at it, the beached have been extended by three blocks of 30 foot title way. The Republican Governor made sure every casino was put back in place but the common people of this great storm called Katrina never got it back right. We still believe at The Remnant that this storm was a judgment on our country for giving back the land to the land in Gaza to the terrorist. Still while rockets fly into the Southern part of Israel, the United States is pushing up the anti to get the Jews to give back the pre 1967 areas including the Temple Mount Region. God is speaking through his prophets even today and warning the church that what is about to happen is going to be catastrophic in nature if the United States pushes for any more land giveaways to the terrorists. Pastor John Kilpatrick has seen a horrifying vision of the earth splitting between Europa, Missouri and Indianola, Illinois.

Best Churches In The Land

MOBILE, AL -- We who live on the Gulf Coast are seasoned toward storms but what happened in 1995 was beyond anything we have ever experienced to this day. Katrina blew sustained winds of 100 miles per hour over for eight straight hours. As I watched trees tossed around and Alabama fell under a partial flood, the people on the coast of Mississippi were getting twice the action we experienced. A 30 foot title surge destroyed houses for three straight blocks. Entire concrete bridges were destroyed, the Bay St. Louis rail road bridge was totally destroyed. As the stormed moved up the Pearl River Valley, Picayune and Poplaville clocked wins up to 175 to 185 miles per hour. When it was over no one could get to many of the people because it was so massive. Eventually people got to their feet.

It was on August 17th of that year that the U.S. State Department forced the Israelis out of Gaza settlement at Gush Kadif. For the first time since the country was formed on April 29, 1948 the Jewish nation had refugees. The week following we protested loudly on a Gulf Coast Radio station called WOSM in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The following week I was in New Orleans with John and Carol Arnott at Victory Life Assembly of God next to the New Orleans Saints training camp. The last thing I heard John Arnott preach was, "Forgiveness." It was a prophetic word because in coming days more than two thirds of the city would leave the city limits. The heart of the storm when straight up the Pearl River and the power side of storm pounded WOSM in Ocean Springs. While every major tower was dropped by the great storm WOSM stayed on all night and stayed in place. I would like to think that WOSM blessed the Jew and was blessed. It was just 13 days after the settlers left in the Gaza that the United States had refugees, almost an entire metropolitan area was destroyed, and New Orleans was on the week side of the storm. It was the levies that destroyed New Orleans. We at The Remnant bless Israel, Margaret and Charles Cooper have backed The Remnant for over 20 years. It's voice reaches deep into Alabama and to the state line of Louisiana.

We ask you to pray for our revival in Poplarville, one of the hardest hit areas in Mississippi. We know there is a blessing here and we know that God has His eye on the area of this storm, now there is a blessing in the mix, and we call upon God to touch the people in Mississippi. We do a little more background on this revival for the whole week. Pray for Stacy Mitchell and Casey Sones as they canvas the area for revival. Stacy will carry the cross in Picayune on Friday. We are blessed that Pastor Bill Davidson has a heart for revival, we already know what an awesome Pastor he is.

MOBILE, AL -- It was the most awesome blessing that this minister has ever experienced. Turning my computer on and listening to The Remnant International broadcasting in Jerusalem. I remember in 1997 flying to Bradford, England and preaching in some of the same pulpits that Smith Wigglesworth preached in. Knowing that I was able to preach the gospel in the Holy Land was probably the greatest thrill in my life. On my second visit to Israel I was standing in the same place where Elijah destroyed the prophets of Baal. It was a beautiful day as I was allowed to preach overlooking the Jezreal Valley. Looking over that valley, it makes you wonder how it is going to be when God comes to Israel's rescue during the predicted prophetic events that we are right next to. I felt like I was at home, I felt like Israel is my home -- it is a real strange feeling and you never forget what it felt like and the mood you were in when you first came through the city of Jerusalem. God's people are still in the palm of his hands. Pray for the Jewish people and their leader Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu -- we must pray that he have the wisdom of Solomon and the boldness of David. All time and all events focus on Jerusalem and these people called God's people, the Jews.

MOBILE, AL -- Those who love Israel in this country knows that this countries new administration has put pressure on Israel to pull back from the land they captured during the 1967 War. God's people are increasingly being pushed to the limit. There is new leadership at the top of Jewish nation. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made the statement that causes the terrorists to take a second look, he said, "I won't repeat Gaza evacuation mistake." This is a very bold statement during a time when the threat of nuclear weapons are just a short distance away in Iran. As the world allows the Iranians to build a nuclear weapon, Israel is concerned about the threat of the leadership in Iran and is weighing the military options to put a halt to this policy of the nuclear threat. The six day war in 1967 happened more than 40 years ago. This war was the war that captured the Temple Mount region of Jerusalem and increased the country by one third. It's very clear that these are the last days. God is in the process of lining up the prophetic events that will lead to the second coming of Jesus. The biblical ignorance of the White House and the Democratic Congress has now opened a door for God to deal with the country and how the United States has pulled away from God. In a nation that sends more missionaries around the world, the United States has entered the court of the judgment of God. Before this administration does anything to Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. God doesn't make mistakes and he will not let his people come under the intimidation of another nation, no matter how powerful, no matter how influential that nation is. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem -- God has favor on those who favor HIS people.

MOBILE, AL -- We are just watching the events of the middle east with a sharp drive Av is the month during which many calamities befell the Jewish people. Of all these misfortunes, the most prominent is the destruction of both the First and Second Temples on 9th Av. Each time, destruction was followed by exile - once to Babylonia (420CE) and once to Rome (70Ce). Rome is identified with Edom, an exile which continues to this day. As we have reported on this web before there will be a series of three Solar Eclipses at the beginning of the tragic month for Israel and the second one happened last month on July 22, 2009. These events are a signal of the end of days. Israel is in the process of many things right now. While the whole world watches Iran build a nuclear device, Israel will eventually take action to end this process very soon.

He began to hunger for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. As Pastor Davidson dunked him in the water he came out of it speaking in tongues. That was the thing that broke his traditional Baptist roots and took him to a level he had and his family had never been to in the Baptist expression. Oh yes he still lives in his families community but today he sees God in a whole new light and has a determination to go deeper. That's the kind of dedication that this church has to the community.

There are no denominational barriers for coming to Sanctuary of Praise, the foundation has been set in love and the presence of God. The power to heal all manner of diseases is in this house of God and the report of healings happen every week as they come together to worship God. Every once and a while God shows you something that works the vision of Pastor Bill Davidson has manifested itself through his people and the people who are drawn to this church. MOBILE, AL -- We did this more than ten years ago and it was very popular with the people who patronize our web-site. We have had over 8 million visits around the world by people who are hungry for a move of God. We traveled around this country for the last 12 years and we have found that these revelations are true. Not everyone will agree but I will tell you one thing about these places, we believe that this is the quality in ministry that many churches could only dream about. With each church you visit you will find that the basis of their revelations and their success is all tied to prayer, fasting and giving.
